In November 2024, we launched our MetaJourney project — a bold step toward turning our dreams into reality. Each month, guests can look forward to exclusive international guest shifts and four-hands dinners, featuring some of the most exciting names in the global food and beverage scene.

Episode 1.

BARC (Kathmandu, Nepal) #39 Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024

BARC, an intimate speakeasy, draws inspiration from grandiose arches with rustic colors, framed photographs of non-iconic Nepalese art adorning the walls. Barc offers a contemporary space that feels both familiar and foreign, unique in the Nepali market. Barc’s menue is a fusion of international flavours with local ingredients, carefully balanced to include classic hits and experimental blends.

Our dear friends Abhishek Tuladhar and Sagar Bista joined Himitsu for increadible guest shift. It was a start of our Metajourney and we were honored to welcome such talented and inspiring guys.

St. Regis Saadiyat Island (Abu Dhabi, UAE)

Don Bodhinayake, the Bar Manager of the Year in the Middle East for 2023 (Cater Awards) and top 7 mixologists in the UAE (Red Hand Campaign by Campari) with his Head mixologist John Matthew, Marriot Rising Star Europe, Middle East and Africa 2024 Winner, joined Alba for incredible presentation of their The Illusions menu and collaboration with Alba Bar team.

USE BAR (Hanoi, Vietnam) Best Sustainable Bar 2023 by B.A.R. Award, Champion Diageo World Class Vietnam 2023

Chris, beverage manager of USE Bar, joined Himitsu for guest shift to collaborate and present unique cocktails, unique approach for delivering the taste and achieve the highest sustainability of service. Chris is genuine and passionate to create magic flavours.
